Philippa is a specialist in safety and certification with over 15 years experience researching current and future issues in software safety for Avionics and Defence. She gained her PhD from the University of York in 2006, looking at certification and safety of Integrated Modular Avionics operating systems. She is Research and Development Co-ordinator at Rapita Systems, and joint lead of WP5, ensuring exploitation of PROXIMA technology.
